The low-profile silhouette of the Aria Platform Bed expresses a quality of elegance and harmony. Each Aria Platform Bed features the splendor of the Back Headboard in a Striped Ebony, Night Black or Luster White finish. The back headboard and bed frame is made of solid wood and wood composites and finished with a special 12 step process creating a beautiful finish similar to a piano style surface, providing many years of trouble free enjoyment. The eco-foam padding on the Offset Front Headboard is finished in a carved, authentic leather stamped to resemble the natural design of alligator leather, adding a subtle yet distinct richness to the entire look and feel of the bedroom set. The Front Headboard is available in a Night Black or Luster White Stamped Leather.
A matching Nightstand, Dresser, Dressing Table, Ottoman and Mirror rounds out the Aria Contemporary Bedroom Furniture line offering a simple and elegant way to create a whole new bedroom look and relaxing ambience with one easy step. Construction
The Aria platform bed features the exclusive "Bowed Slat System" whereby the mattress sits directly on slightly upward curved solid wood slats. The real benefit of this type of slat system is that it the slats provide optimal support for your mattress, while at the same time allowing air to circulate in the sleeping environment. An additional center support rail and four extra support feet, offer a sturdy platform for any type of futon, inner spring, coil, latex or memory foam mattress.
In addition the entire the Aria platform bed and the matching Aria contemporary bedroom furniture has received the coveted “E-1” rating, meaning that the furniture is manufactured from sustainably sourced products, using non-toxic paints and finishes, and in such a way that results in zero off-gassing of harmful gas or fumes from the finished product. This certified rating from the European Union designates furniture made in manner in harmony with the environment, both yours and the planets. Haiku Designs is proud to offer this select family of furniture products certified as “E-1”.

All dresser, dressing tables and nightstands drawers use metal drawer rails with ball bearing drawer glides incorporating the special “Self Closing” process. What this means is that as the drawer is being closed it gently self closes the last 3 inches, eliminating banging, and saving fingers from getting pinched.
