The Milano platform bed is hand crafted in Italy using the finest Italian leathers and surrounding a frame and slat system construction of "E-1" and "FSC Certified" wood. This special eco-friendly classification system means that the wood used in the construction of the Milano bed and matching bedroom furniture pieces has been sourced from forests that are sustainable harvested and constructed in a way that allows no off-gassing of dangerous fumes into the sleeping environment. The Milano Queen Size Bed in Black Italian Leather.
Milano Platform beds and sets are available in luxurious authentic white or black Italian leather. The Queen bed is available in White and Black Italian Leather. The King bed is only available in the White Italian Leather only. The bed set is available in Queen or King Sizes and includes our exclusive "Bowed Slat System" where the mattress sits directly on slightly upward curved solid wood slats. The real benefit of this type of slat system is that the slats provide optimal support while at the same time allowing the mattress to firmly rest inside the bed frame and allow air to circulate in the sleeping environment. Featuring the Milano nightstands, horizontal dresser, and matching decorative mirror designed and manufactured in Italy, to the highest quality control standards. Each piece incorporating metal and steel drawer glide rails with the “Self Closing Mechanism” whereby the drawers automatically close the last several inches eliminating drawer slamming and pinched fingers.
In addition, each furniture piece includes an exclusive Sapphire Crystal 16-layer finish. This special, extra thick finish, similar to the sapphire crystal front piece found on high end watches, protects against chips, scratches, and staining, and features a look of elegant, rich luster.
