The Geneva Bed Featuring the Unique “Floating Platform”
The Geneva Platform bed is the centerpiece of the Geneva Bedroom set. Straightforward lines with a slight curve added to each side rail, headboard and foot rail, breaks up the square box-like design found in many platform beds today, and creates an effect both pleasing and welcoming to the eye. Low profile structure with recessed support feet creates a dramatic "Floating Platform" look, whereby the bed appears to be elevated off the floor.
The platform structure of the Geneva Bed features a slat platform system that works great with any type of standard size mattress, futon or foam mattress. A hidden third rail runs between the footboard and headboard with additional feet for extra support.
The wood frame structure is surrounded by padded foam and covered in luxurious bi-fabricated textile leather. Bi-fabricated textile leather is a special material where two extra thick layers of material are fused together, creating a fabric with exceptional look and endurance. What that means to you is that the Geneva bed is naturally stain resistant, and will not crack, dry out or discolor over time. The real benefit to this type of material is that the Geneva bed will give you many years of trouble-free enjoyment.
