Our 13 inch wall clock is an exact replica of an original clock used
to advertise the Shanghai Trading Company, a leading shipping company
in Shanghai, China in the late 1800's. At that time, Shanghai was a
busy, exotic international port of commerce shipping tea, spices,
and
silks all over the world.
Recall some of the charm of those days with our modern interpretation
of the original Shanghai clock, incorporating both Chinese and English
characters indicating time periods of the day.
