Our EcoRest Futons are All-Natural, 100% Organic
The EcoRest Futon is an all-organic, all-natural, luxury futon made entirely of natural Latex, Soft Wool and Unbleached Cotton. We use the same all-natural Talalay latex found in our Naturalpedic Latex Mattress.This is an all-natural form of foam rubber created from the sap of the Asian Rubber Tree. This natural material does not off-gas toxic gasses into the sleeping environment as do synthetic foams used in most futons.

Surrounding this latex core, we place 3 inches of the highest-quality, softest, 100% organic wool and wrap the whole package in 2 inches of 100% organic cotton batting and cotton cover quilted for extra comfort. Our EcoRest Futon will not have any synthetic foam cores, pesticide-treated cotton batting or polyester shells. Most futon mattresses today are made from cotton stuffing and synthetic, polyester-based foam cores. Petrochemical foams off-gas a whole list of toxins into the sleeping environment. In addition, although cotton is a natural material, standard cotton used in bedding is grown using tons of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.
