Haiku Designs goes to extraordinary effort to insure that each and every shipment reaches our customers in the best possible time, for the best possible price and in excellent condition. All shipments are triple-boxed for extra care and shipped fully-insured against damage. All Truck Line Shipments go via “Grade A” truck lines. Ground shipments go via UPS or Federal Express.

Bedroom sets and furniture require between 2-4 weeks for delivery, unless otherwise noted. All furniture products require truck line shipping.
For international or Canada shipping prices, place an order for the products you want over our secure server. We will calculate the most economical shipping charges and notify you by e-mail. If you approve, we will then process your order and ship. All custom fees, import duties, taxes if any, will be extra and will be the responsibility of the buyer. International shipping times range from 5-10 business days for UPS up to 2 weeks and more for U.S. Postal Service.
We use major truck line carriers and have secured volume discounts allowing us to pass on significant savings to the consumer. Place your order for any specific furniture product or combination of products. Our shipping experts will calculate the best possible transportation charges to your exact location and will contact you for your approval. No order is processed until your final approval and you can cancel your order up until time of shipment for no charge.
Mattresses, futons and Raku beds with mats must be shipped truck line and will incur a fixed truck line shipping charge as noted on the product information page of each item, unless shipping is outside the continental United States.
All furniture shipping quotes are for “Residential Front Door Delivery,” which is the first ground floor entrance to your home or apartment/condo building and includes a special home delivery notification for no extra charge. After your order ships and the order arrives in your area, the local truck line dispatcher will contact you personally by phone to set up a weekday residential delivery time suitable for your schedule.
White Glove Inside Delivery and Furniture Assembly Service is available for an extra charge. Please contact us for a White Glove Delivery quote.
Shoji Screens and some lamps are oversize #2 and incur a fixed UPS shipping charge shipped to any location within the continental US. This shipping price is noted on the product information line.
2nd Day and Next Day UPS air is available by request.
Returns, Damaged and Cancelled Orders Policy
Cancelled Orders
Any order can be canceled up until the time of shipment for a full refund.
"Rest Easy" Returns
Once an order has been shipped, any order can be returned within 30 days for a full refund of the purchase price less the original shipping fee. Return shipping and return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Customer assumes responsibility for the return of the product in new condition. If a product is not returned in new and good condition, a refund cannot be issued. A 10% restocking fee may be charged for products that are returned without original boxes and packing materials. Furniture and Mattresses shipped truck freight or UPS will incur a 10% restocking fee. Refunds will be issued within 7 days after return of goods and completion of transaction.
Damaged Shipments
All products are shipped fully-insured against loss or damage. In the unlikely event a product is damaged in shipment, Accept Delivery, note on the delivery receipt the number of boxes damaged and contact Haiku Designs for replacement. Haiku Designs will file and coordinate all damage claims with the shipping company. All damaged claims must be made within 5 days of receipt of goods. Damaged goods cannot be returned for credit.
Refused Shipments Incur Original and Return Freight Charges billed directly to the customer.
