Orders are processed immediately upon receipt. Normal shipping time is 3-12 business days for standard UPS and Fed Ex ground. Shoji screens are oversize and can take 10 -12 (two weeks) business days in transit. Rarely a product may be backordered. If so, you will be contacted with expected shipping and delivery time.

Haiku Designs can ship products almost anywhere in the world. We ship UPS Air Express, U.S. Post Office Express or Fed Ex Great Rates, whichever is available and more economical. We charge exact shipping charges and do not add any extra handling or packing fees. International shipping charges are often significantly more expensive than domestic charges.

Mattresses, Sofas, most Furniture items, and some Statues require the security of truck line shipping due to their weight and size. Haiku Designs uses only Class #1 truck line carriers and have secured volume discounts, allowing us to pass on significant savings to the consumer.

Our “Residential Front Door Delivery Service” offers more than back of the truck pick up, or curbside drop off and insures that your valuable purchase is delivered right to your front door. All furniture is shipped on Class #1 Carriers, Fully Insured, with front door delivery which is the first ground floor entrance to your home or apartment/condo building. In addition, a special home delivery notification is included for no extra charge. As your order arrives in your area, the local truck line dispatcher will contact you personally by phone to set up a weekday residential delivery appointment suitable for your schedule.

White Glove Inside Delivery and Furniture Assembly Service is available for an extra charge. Please contact us for a White Glove Delivery quote.

Lamps, gift items, clocks, and most accessories can be shipped UPS ground. Our secure shipping computer will calculate exact UPS Ground shipping charges, based on the weight and size of the order and the customer's shipping address. We then double check each order with the UPS National shipping system to ensure the best possible shipping price.

Cancelled Orders

Any order can be canceled up until the time of shipment for a full refund.

"Rest Easy" Returns

Once an order has been shipped, any order can be returned within 30 days for a full refund of the purchase price less the original shipping fee. Return shipping and return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Customer assumes responsibility for the return of the product in new condition. If a product is not returned in new and good condition, a refund cannot be issued. A 15% restocking fee may be charged for products that are returned without original boxes and packing materials. Furniture and Mattresses shipped truck freight or UPS will incur a 15% restocking fee. Refunds will be issued within 7 days after return of goods and completion of transaction.

Damaged Shipments

All products are shipped fully-insured against loss or damage. In the unlikely event a product is damaged in shipment, Accept Delivery, note on the delivery receipt the number of boxes damaged and contact Haiku Designs for replacement. Haiku Designs will file and coordinate all damage claims with the shipping company. All damaged claims must be made within 5 days of receipt of goods. Shipments not noted as damaged on the delivery receipt are not eligible for damage insurance replacement. Damaged goods cannot be returned for credit.

Refused Shipments Incur Original and Return Freight Charges billed directly to the customer.

Warranties

Furniture, Gifts and Accessories

1 Year Warranty

All furniture, gifts, accessories and framed art prints carry a warranty of one year against any manufacture defects in workmanship or material. This warranty is in effect, beginning with the delivery of the product to the customer's address.

Mattresses

20 Year Warranty

All Mattresses carry a 20-year pro-rated warranty. Full warranty for the first 10 years and 10 years pro-rated against defect in workmanship and materials. Any transportation cost if needed, may in the some instances be the responsibility of the purchaser.

The warranty covers 100% of purchase price against defects in workmanship and materials for a full ten (10) years. Your mattress will be replaced or repaired, should it be found defective because of faulty workmanship or structural defects.

Law tag must not be removed from the mattress as this label identifies the product regarding warranty. As with all premium sleep products certain body conformity adaptations will take place over time and are considered normal use. This does not indicate any type of structural failure.

All Warranties

Haiku Designs reserves the right to refuse warranty service when a product is found to be in an unsanitary condition, when the product has been physically altered or when the product failure is due to causes other than defective worksmanship or materials. All product warranties are valid only to the original purchaser of the product as indicated on the original sales invoice.

The terms and service described here and regarding all warranties shall be the consumer’s sole and exclusive remedy.
