Our Tara platform bed and matching bedroom furniture makes full use of these ideas and incorporates the curve and other Japanese design themes in creating a unique and beautifully styled platform bed. The Tara bed begins with a low-to-the-ground platform offset by a luxuriously upholstered, padded mirofiber headboard, framed in a warm, cherry finished wood. Perfect for comfort and back support, and perfect for leaning up against for that late night page-burning novel. In addition, the headboard features a slight upward curved design that reflects both modern and contemporary furniture trends as well as a touch of traditional Japanese design. The end result is a handsome, attractive bed that is pleasing to the eye, and comfortable to the senses.

The Tara Platform bed works with every style of mattress including memory foam mattresses, regular style mattresses, or futons. No need for a box spring as the mattress rests directly on the solid wood slats, allowing air to circulate within the sleeping mattress and platform creating a better night's rest.
