Our Full Beds don't need a box spring, as platform beds offer a solid wood slat system upon which the mattress is placed. This gives your bed ample support for the mattress, while allowing air to circulate throughout the sleeping area.
Full size beds are great for smaller rooms, where you may not have the space or need for a Queen size bed. At 15" wider than a Twin bed, you still get more a bit more room to sleep than your smallest choice. Full sized beds can be a bit small for two people, or for taller people, but can work great for children and smaller adults that just need a little more room.
This is a review for the internet ordering department - I've never set foot in the showroom. Made a special order for the Milano platform bed - which I wanted in black leather. This was special order and added about 6 weeks, to the time required for delivery. Additionally ordered a latex mattress and a silk comforter. The comforter is terrific - lightweight, doesn't bunch up like down would. Warm when needed - light enough for three seasons. The mattress is a standard latex and is fantastic!! As for the bed - the quality is much better than expected. The leather is butter soft, flawless surface and a very good dye job. there is a "his and her" (or his and his if thats your thing) side with bowed hardwood slats - they "give" a little as required. Overall am very impressed with the product/service. would use this company again.
