Welcome to the Pure Sleep Latex and Wool Futon Mattress. Featuring all of the great benefits of a traditional futon but upgraded with Botanical Latex, All Natural Wool and an Organic Cotton cover, the Pure Sleep Futon offer a firm and comfortable rest, without the toxic foams, chemical flame retardants found in most futons and mattresses today.

We begin with a 2 inch, Dunlop Latex core made from Botanical Latex, instead of latex blended with petrochemical foams. We then layer approximately 6 inches of Natural Ameri-Wool which is surrounded and wrapped in a GOTS certified luxurious Organic Cotton cover. Ameri-Wool is a Natural Eco-Wool sourced here in the United States and allows our full line of hybrid Futons to meet the Flame retardant standards without the use of Chemical, Toxic flame retardants.

Quitted in an GOTS certified Organic Cotton cover and hand tufted, the Pure Sleep futon incorporates the best features of the traditional mattress with the added benefit of Natural Latex and Natural Eco-Wool.

This Hybrid approach provides a firm futon like feel, with a slight and comfortable give that can only be described as amazing. In addition, the Latex core reduces the lumpiness found in more traditional futons, and raises the life expectancy to 20-30 years.

Most of all it provides a safe, non-toxic, chemical free zone for you and your loved ones, creating a healthier and restful sleeping environment.

Global Organic Textile Standard: GOTS is recognised as the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well.

We use only the finest grade of pure botanical rubber for the support core at the center of our mattresses and overlays. Botanical latex rubber is an ideal choice for mattresses because it is flexible, yet stable, for superior comfort.

Our natural wool vendors have conditions in which sheep are raised humanely with plenty of room to graze and enjoy the sunshine in a mulesing free environment. The sheep are treated respectfully and do not get harmed to produce the wool for our bedding.

Shipping

Furniture over $199 Ships for Free in the Continental (Lower 48) United States of America. We do charge for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories and International Shipments, which is quoted on an order-by-order basis. Most furniture ships freight, which is delivered curbside to your driveway. If you need assistance getting the item into your house, carrying furniture up a flight of stairs, or more hands-on services, like assembly or white glove services, we can assist with finding the right upgrades at the right prices. Returns and Cancellations

Most of our customers love the our products at first sight, but if you change your mind or don’t like a product, we can cancel most orders up to the point they ship. Products in new, unopened, resalable condition can also be sent back in original packaging materials, but the customer is responsible for the return shipping/freight charges, per our Return Policy. Lastly, Custom Made and Made-to-Order items must be cancelled with 72 hours, or are charged in full to start the production, at which point, they can’t be cancelled or returned. Warranties

Our catalog of furniture items are high quality and made to last. All furniture items are sold with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in craftsmanship or functionality per our Return Policy. For your convenience, if a situation does occur regarding warranty or shipping issues, Haiku Designs will file and coordinate all claims and warranty replacements. Beyond that it is our desire to have happy customers and earn your business any time you have home furnishing needs. Payment

Haiku Designs accepts all the major credit cards, checks, and PayPal through our secure website checkout. You are also able to use PayPal Credit if you desire to pay over time. Generally, we’ll charge you at the time the order ships (except custom and made-to-order items which are charged ahead of starting production).
