Greenington’s high performance Rowan media cabinet allows easy remote access to your media, yet keeps components hidden out of view behind three beautiful louvered doors. The louvered design allows the infrared light to reach your remote-controlled devices inside. Easy to use, the back of the media cabinet is as accessible as the front, via two ventilated rear panels that can be completely removed for clear access to your cables, wiring, and media components. Generous flow thru ventilation for heat control. Ships fully assembled.

The sleek modern design and simple clean lines of the Rowan Media Center feature a craftsman-built frame made from solid bamboo, lacquered in a matte black finish with solid Amber bamboo doors. Environmentally safe, Amber is not a surface stain, the color is the result of an innovative caramelization process using heat, steam, and pressure to transform the solid bamboo material into Amber’s splendid array of colors. Variations in grain and color enrich the natural beauty of bamboo furniture and make each piece unique. Slight differences in bamboo shade colors are signs that the furniture has been crafted from solid bamboo and is considered a benchmark of quality.     Shipping

    Furniture over $199 Ships for Free in the Continental (Lower 48) United States of America. We do charge for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and International Shipments, which is quoted on an order-by-order basis. Most furniture ships freight, which is delivered curbside to your driveway. If you need assistance getting the item into your house, carrying furniture up a flight of stairs, or more hands-on services, like assembly or white glove services, we can assist with finding the right upgrades at the right prices.     Returns and Cancellations

    Most of our customers love our products at first sight, but if you change your mind or don’t like a product, we can cancel most orders up to the point they ship. Products in new, unopened, resalable condition can also be sent back in original packaging materials, but the customer is responsible for the return shipping/freight charges, per our Return Policy. Lastly, Custom Made and Made-to-Order items must be cancelled within 72 hours or are charged in full to start the production, at which point, they can’t be cancelled or returned.     Warranties

    Our catalog of furniture items is high quality and made to last. All furniture items are sold with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in craftsmanship or functionality per our Return Policy. For your convenience, if a situation does occur regarding warranty or shipping issues, Haiku Designs will file and coordinate all claims and warranty replacements. Beyond that, it is our desire to have happy customers and earn your business anytime you have home furnishing needs. Feel free to contact us with any issues you have with a Haiku Designs purchase, and we’ll do what we can to help you resolve them.

    Haiku Designs accepts all major credit cards, checks, and PayPal through our secure website checkout. You are also able to use PayPal Credit if you desire to pay over time. Generally, we’ll charge you at the time the order ships (except custom and made-to-order items which are charged ahead of starting production).

    All Greenington furniture is made of 100% natural bamboo. It is very hard, dense and extremely durable. Like any natural hardwood furniture, maintaining the humidity in a controlled environment is also very important for bamboo furniture. Keeping the relative humidity in the range of 40 to 55 percent will greatly reduce the potential for any checking or warping, allowing you to better preserve the natural beauty of the pieces. Here are some general tips that'll go a long way towards maintaining and caring for your new furniture pieces.

    Damage Prevention

    • Use coasters and pads to prevent damage from heat, moisture or heavy objects.
    • Do not use wax or polish on your bamboo furniture.
    • To prevent staining or water marks, make sure to clean spills immediately, using a dabbing motion with a soft cloth.

    Cleaning

    • For periodic cleaning use a soft cloth and a gentle cleaner designed for wood furniture.
    • Avoid cleaners that contain abrasive materials, oil, acidic or caustic ingredients or any other harsh chemicals.

    Avoiding Scratches

    • To avoid scratches, take care to lift objects and never drag or slide them across surfaces.

    Keep Away from Heat

    • Avoid placing furniture directly in front of heat vents, wood burning stoves or other heat sources.
    • Never place bamboo furniture in direct sunlight day after day.

    Bamboo is an incredibly durable and eco-friendly raw material. About 20% harder than Red Oak and capable of reaching maturity within 3-5 years, Bamboo is a rapidly renewable and eco-friendly alternative to solid wood. Additionally, Bamboo is one of the best plants on the planet to sequester carbon, releasing up to 35% more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees.
