The One Upholstered Platform Bed is a new platform bed featuring a fabric-wrapped platform base and a comfortable and multi-function upholstered headboard. Upholstered platform beds have been gaining in popularity because more people are leveraging their bedrooms for more than just sleep, like reading, watching television, or using devices, and the upholstered headboard adds this flexibility. We do want to point out that the wooden components of this platform bed are constructed with manufactured wood so we would not consider the One Upholstered Platform Bed to be eco friendly, however, it remains a popular item due to its look, multi-use versatility, and affordable price point.

With crisp modern lines and soft padded upholstery, the One collection adds modern luxury to any bedroom. Its distinctive look is created with subtle design elements, including generous proportions, a floating plinth base, and a broad headboard. The soft white pearl fabric is a tightly woven canvas made entirely from synthetic fiber and treated with a performance coating for stain resistance and easy care.

  • Bold proportions and tight tailoring for a subtle but distinctive modern look
  • Also available as a headboard only for use with metal bed frames
  • Fabric content 98% polyester, 2% nylon. Cleaning code W: mix lukewarm water with a liquid detergent such as Tide. Gently blot the soiled area. Rinse with a clean, damp cloth to ensure soap residue has been removed
  • Platform bed mattress support consists of a metal center rail, support legs, and bentwood plywood cross slats. Box spring not required
  • Metal to metal side and center rail fittings for easy assembly, reassembly, and long-term durability
  • Base fitted with non-marking nylon glides
  • Note: Wooden components of the One Upholstered Platform Bed are made with manufactured wood, featuring medium-density fiberboard, so if you have a sensitivity to off-gassing from this type of material or are looking for a more eco-friendly piece, the Oxford or Lawson may be a better choice for the solid wood.

Shipping

Furniture over $199 Ships for Free in the Continental (Lower 48) United States of America. We do charge for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and International Shipments, which is quoted on an order-by-order basis. Most furniture ships freight, which is delivered curbside to your driveway. If you need assistance getting the item into your house, carrying furniture up a flight of stairs, or more hands-on services, like assembly or white glove services, we can assist with finding the right upgrades at the right prices. Returns and Cancellations

Most of our customers love our products at first sight, but if you change your mind or don’t like a product, we can cancel most orders up to the point they ship. Products in new, unopened, resalable condition can also be sent back in original packaging materials, but the customer is responsible for the return shipping/freight charges, per our Return Policy. Lastly, Custom Made and Made-to-Order items must be cancelled within 72 hours or are charged in full to start the production, at which point, they can’t be cancelled or returned. Warranties

Our catalog of furniture items is high quality and made to last. All furniture items are sold with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in craftsmanship or functionality per our Return Policy. For your convenience, if a situation does occur regarding warranty or shipping issues, Haiku Designs will file and coordinate all claims and warranty replacements. Beyond that, it is our desire to have happy customers and earn your business anytime you have home furnishing needs. Feel free to contact us with any issues you have with a Haiku Designs purchase, and we’ll do what we can to help you resolve them.

Payment

Haiku Designs accepts all major credit cards, checks, and PayPal through our secure website checkout. You are also able to use PayPal Credit if you desire to pay over time. Generally, we’ll charge you at the time the order ships (except custom and made-to-order items which are charged ahead of starting production).
